How Does the Referral Program Work?

Here’s how it works:

For every friend that subscribes with your code, we will take 20% off your subscription and 20% off theirs every month! Refer 5 friends and enjoy a FREE Studio Ninja account.

Please note that the discount is based on the number of days or months your referred friend has been subscribed.

Monthly vs. Annual Subscription

The discounts for successful referrals can vary depending on your subscription plan:

  • Monthly Subscription: If you are on a Monthly plan, you’ll receive a 20% discount on your next renewal invoice for each month your referral remains an active subscriber.

  • Annual Subscription: This is where it gets a bit more complicated. If you are on an Annual plan, the discount works similarly but varies based on the number of months remaining until your next renewal invoice.

Example:

Let’s say you have been using Studio Ninja for a while and you love how it works for your business. You decide to share your referral code with your friend, Jamie.

Jamie signs up using your code and enjoys a 20% discount on their subscription. If Jamie subscribes on a date that is exactly 6 months before your next annual renewal invoice, you will receive 6 months' worth of discount when paying for that invoice. You will then get the rest of the discount on the following renewal invoice.

Calculations:

  • Annual price in USD = $270

  • Full 20% discount = $270 x 20% = $54

  • Discount per month = $54/12 = $4.50

  • 6 months of discount = $4.50 x 6 = $27

So on your next renewal invoice, you will pay:

  • $270 less $27 = $243

The remaining $27 (assuming that Jamie remained an active user for 12 months) will be deducted on the following renewal invoice.

To access your unique Refer a Friend code, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your account

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Under “Global Settings”, click “Refer a Friend”

  4. Click “Copy to clipboard”

  5. Share your referral code with friends, colleagues, or anyone who might benefit from Studio Ninja. You can share it via email, social media, or even directly in conversations.
